“Records show that the Colla family have been making wine in Piedmonte since 1703. However it was not until 1993, that Tino Colla and his niece Federica, decided to combine forces to create a new wine venture thus establishing the property of Poderi Colla.
The property is made up of three distinct vineyards:- Cascine Drago in Alba (in the heart of the Langhe appellation),Tenuta Roncaglia (which takes its name from the historic Barbaresco cru) and Tenuta Dardi Le Rose (the renowned Barolo Bussia cru in Monforte).
Since its inception, Poderi Colla have fast become one of the most renowned and prized producers of wines from the Piedmonte region”.
