A Special 'Vertical' Wine Tasting Dinner with Vintages of Cloudy Bay

Wednesday 28th July, Fifth Floor, 7.30pm

with Simon Kershaw

£65.00 per person including six courses and eight wines

(A vertical tasting means the same wines are tasted in order of their vintage.)

Cloudy Bay Vineyards are situated in the Wairau Valley at the Northern end of New Zealand's South Island. The winery takes its name from the bay at the eastern extremity of the valley, which was named Cloudy Bay by Captain Cook on his voyage to New Zealand in 1770.

Despite captain Cook's observations, this unique and cool wine region enjoys the longest hours of sunshine in New Zealand.

We are delighted to be joined by Simon Kershaw. Simon was voted ‘Wine Merchant of the Year’ 2005 and 2006 and is currently the wine advisor for Harvey Nichols, he's even planted his own vineyard in Yorkshire!

This is a ticketed event, to book call us on 0151 705 2222 or email Sarah eat@hopestreethotel.co.uk

We look forward to seeing you there.
