Vallet Frères are without doubt one of the best producers of top quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the world. From their humble home in Gevrey Chambertin, they produce stunning burgundy wines that represent the true character of this great region. The company was founded in 1864 by Pierre Bouree, the current custodian Bernard Vallet’s great, great Uncle.
The wines to this day are still hand crafted in the traditional manner; manual harvesting, the grapes are crushed by foot, natural fermentation using wild yeast, slow maturation in barrels followed by bottling direct from the cask.
These excellent wines are a real delight to experience.
