…and crackers and chutney and grapes and friends and figs.

A fascinating evening of cheese, culture and history, hosted by our friends from Liverpool Cheese Company with wines expertly paired by TLCW’s Sommelier Mathew Cooke.

There will be ten different cheeses accompanied by five different wines, all served with plenty of traditional accompaniments.

A Winemaker’s dinner with Nyetimber

The Evening will be hosted by Michael Bush from Nyetimber

Six courses, five sparkling wines and a sparkling wine cocktail

£110 per person

Nyetimber– England’s finest sparkling wine.

With 170 hectares of vineyards planted at the best sites in West Sussex and Hampshire, Nyetimber were the first to be devoted exclusively to the holy trinity of Champagne grapes: chardonnay, pinot meunier and pinot noir. They say that Southern England is perfect for the production of sparkling wine – the climate allows for the slow ripening of grapes which achieves the optimum level of acidity for this fine wine.

A Winemakers’ Dinner with Lallier Champagne

We are delighted to welcome back Master Sommelier Nigel Wilkinson of Boutinot Wines to host the evening.

Champagne Lallier, established for five generations, is a small house crafting Pinot Noir dominated blends from Grand Cru sites around Ay. Much of their fruit is sourced from ‘Grand Cru’ vineyards – the crème de la crème of vineyard sites.

The quality of Lallier’s Champagne has been recognised numerous times at the Sommeliers Wine Awards, with their Grande Réserve most recently being awarded the Gold Medal!
